Our Solar Panel Cleaning Process
As with all of our roof and gutter work, safety is of the utmost importance to us. In order to get to the panels, we observe all OH&S requirements surrounding roof access. So you don’t have to be concerned if your roof is difficult to access or has a very steep pitch.
We can securely reach any size or height roof to clean your solar panels, and we only use roof and ecologically friendly detergents to clean the panels.
It is critical to do any other essential work first, as the roof can become quite slippery once wet.
We next climb the ladder to the roof and secure our safety harness in the best feasible spot.
Once installed, we use hot water and roof and gutter friendly detergents that will not erode your roof sheets or gutters. We clean or scrape any persistent trash or growth with mechanical techniques.
Finally, we completely rinse the panels as well as the gutters and downpipes below to guarantee that all traces are wiped off your roof, leaving your solar panels clean and working at maximum efficiency!
